Stories that did not become standalone one-pagers — either because
evidence is partial, severity is lower, or they belong
upstream/downstream of the main four. Each is documented in
BRIEF.md. Listed in descending order of newsworthiness.
The 15-Sep-2022 Misa river flood killed 13 in Senigallia and surrounding comuni. The criminal case ("L'Aquila") indicted 8 officials of the prior Mangialardi administration. Lead defense lawyer for 395 civil parties + Unione Nazionale Consumatori is Avv. Corrado Canafoglia — FdI Cons. Reg. Marche, Vice-Coord. FdI Senigallia, Commissioner of the Fondazione Città di Senigallia 2022-2026 (the same Foundation in one-pager 03). His successor as Commissioner, Pellegrini Elisa (Feb-2026), is the UNC Senigallia chapter head.
The angle. Forensically Canafoglia opposes the Mangialardi-era defendants; institutionally he and his successor inherit the patronage Bacchiocchi-CdA seat that the Mangialardi era set up — and which the current mayor's coalition extends. Status. Documented (T2). No allegation of misconduct against Canafoglia in the criminal case itself. Entry. L'Aquila trial docket (Tribunale di Ancona); Foundation commissioning decrees.
EN_ERGON biogas project, sited in a flood-prone zone of Ostra. Regional permit signed 30-Nov-2012 by Eng. Luciano Calvarese (later indicted for corruption + extortion in the "Green Profit" case; 5 convictions, 16-Jul-2019 Tribunale di Ancona). The Comune di Ostra under Mayor Olivetti (2009-2014) did not block the permit despite the opposition's site survey. In Town Council on 22-Nov-2012, Olivetti — having sought unanimity for a favourable opinion — within a one-hour break voted for an unfavourable opinion. The flip has never been publicly explained.
Status. Council minutes documented (T1); Calvarese case documented (T2). Open. Reason for the one-hour flip; whether any Olivetti family or client interest sat on either side of the vote. Entry. Comune di Ostra council minutes 22-Nov-2012; Tribunale di Ancona "Green Profit" judgment.
Liverani Federico and Da Ros received a definitive sentence in March 2025 (Tribunale di Ancona) for falso ideologico — fabricating a false social-services report against the mother of a political opponent in 2018. Both are head-of-list for "Noi con Olivetti", the splinter list backing the mayor's 2026 re-election.
Status. Court conviction confirmed (T2). The list affiliation is publicly registered. Entry. Tribunale di Ancona judgment, Mar-2025; Comune di Senigallia 2026 candidate lists.
Massimo Bello, FdI, President of the Senigallia Town Council under the current mayor, ex-FdI national director for Local Entities, ex-staffer to MEP Alessandra Mussolini (2015-16). Publicly called Resistance partisans "vigliacchi" (cowards) and approved a young FdI member's Instagram post showing a photograph of Mussolini. ANPI (the national Resistance veterans' association) demanded his resignation. The mayor did not censure him.
Status. Quote and ANPI response on public record (T3). Entry. ANPI Senigallia press release; Bello social posts (archived).
Vicesindaco Riccardo Pizzi filed a €25,000 SLAPP suit against a local journalist over articles reporting his attendance at a Covid-period party in violation of the DPCM. The suit was dismissed. Pizzi remains in the cabinet.
Status. Court dismissal documented (T2). Entry. Tribunale di Ancona civil docket.
A €14.88M public tender was awarded to construction firm Subissati, based in Ostra Vetere — the home town of Council President Bello (see lead D). The tender was subsequently sanctioned by ANAC. Not directly linked to the Olivetti family but inside the same CDX patronage perimeter.
Status. ANAC determination documented (T2). Entry. ANAC sanctioning act; Subissati Camera di Commercio file.
Omero Olivetti (the mayor's father) chaired BCC Ostra-Morro d'Alba from 1979 to 2002 — 23 years over the rural credit cooperative that lends to local construction firms and households, including (per its appearance in physician Giuseppe Olivetti's referenze) firms in the Comune Senigallia procurement chain. He died 24-Aug-2020, eight weeks before the runoff that elected his son mayor.
Status. BCC chairmanship dates documented (T2). Background — not a violation. Open. Loan and account relationships between BCC and Costruzioni Nasoni / Sintexcal during the chairmanship period (would require Camera di Commercio and BCC archive). Entry. BCC Ostra-Morro d'Alba historical bulletins; Corriere Adriatico necrology 25-Aug-2020.
Beyond the mayor and physician Giuseppe, the documented Olivetti family in Ostra includes: Sandro Olivetti (mayor's likely uncle, co-founded Ristorante Coppetto 1972, daughters Oriana and Romina now run it); Daniela Olivetti (cousin, deceased 2020, schoolteacher and San Vincenzo De Paoli vice-chair); and the mayor's father Omero (BCC, edilizia, AVIS Ostra founder, Ostra Calcio president).
Status. Each branch documented in obituaries and corporate registries (T2). Background — not a violation. Entry. Corriere Adriatico obituaries 2020-2023; Camera di Commercio file Coppetto S.n.c.
Already cited in one-pager 02 but worth its own lead: on 7-Mar-2025, only three months after the EQ promotion (Decree 528), the mayor signed Decreto sindacale n. 91/2025 layering a second post on Roberto Olivetti — Head of Document Management of the Comune. The cumulation has the same signature, same absence of family-relationship declaration, same absence of abstention.
Status. T1, decree text published. Entry. Senigallia Trasparenza portal, decreti sindacali 2025.
